Babu and the Forest of Feelings

Babu and the Forest of Feelings is an interactive paper toy in the shape of a mini-theater, created to spark imagination, support emotional awareness, and strengthen the emotional bond between children and adults through the art of storytelling.

The toy was designed based on principles of emotional development and can be used by parents, caregivers, and educators as a mediation tool — or simply as a fun and engaging activity.

The kit was distributed to subscribers of Clube Leiturinha, and includes punch-out pieces and a companion booklet with playful prompts and guidance that invite children to explore the world of emotions through a hands-on experience that blends learning and play.

Babu and the Forest of Feelings was created as a companion to the book Where’s Babu? and was fully developed by me, from concept and illustration to activity design and visual development.
